Anna Faulkenburg, Director of Resident Programming at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand, IN, has been recognized by her employer, Trilogy Health Services, LLC, for having perfect attendance in 2011.
Mrs. Faulkenburg was one of nearly 800 employees company-wide who did not miss a day of work and was not tardy from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011. For this achievement, Mrs. Faulkenburg and the other eligible employees were entered into a drawing for one of two rewards valued at $2,500 or $1,000. Mrs. Faulkenburg was the recipient of the $1,000 reward.
The drawing was held via conference call at the Trilogy Health Services Home Office in Louisville, Kentucky. Following the drawing, Randy Bufford, Trilogy President/CEO commented, “We are thrilled to have employees like Anna on the Trilogy Team. Her commitment to the residents of Scenic Hills and to her coworkers is outstanding. She truly embodies the Trilogy spirit.”
“We are just so excited for Anna,” said Todd Maki, Executive Director of Scenic Hills. “It’s wonderful to see someone who works so hard get recognized for their efforts.”
“It’s very seldom that I’m speechless, but I was today when my name was called,” Mrs. Faulkenburg stated. “I was surprised and pleased since I don’t ever win! Trilogy gives so much back to their employees and communities – I’m so proud to work here. When I told my husband I won the drawing, he told me ‘Unexpected money is fun money,’ so rather than paying bills we’re going to use my winnings when we travel to Tennessee for vacation in April.” Mrs. Faulkenburg has worked at Scenic Hills Care Center since 2004.
The $2,500 reward was received by Barbara Verhoff, a Registered Nurse at The Meadows of Kalida in Kalida, Ohio. All employees who were eligible for the drawing also received a $250 bonus and an additional day of paid time off, along with a plaque recognizing their accomplishment.
