At The Lakes of Sylvania we’re dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our customers. But don’t take our word for it, read the reviews of our community for yourself!
Our experience with Lakes of Sylvania was beyond tremendous. My loved one experienced care in both the assisted living wing and also in the skilled nursing area. The director, the nurses, the physical therapists, the chef, the cleaning department and various departments ALL provided the best of care possible. The communication which existed between Lakes of Sylvania and her family was also tremendous. Each day an updated Covid report was to be found in my email and a weekly video was posted to inform all families members of the events of the week. I was able the connect in person with the staff whenever I so desired. My dear one got the BEST of care and compassion from everyone within the walls of Lakes of Sylvania. I would give this campus my highest recomendation. I owe them my deepest gratitude.
The Lakes of Sylvania is the best place to belong, as an employee, resident, and family member. The staff have a passion for providing the best care for the residents and for serving their families. The facility is clean, beautiful, and very well maintained. The food is freshly made from the kitchen, and they provide a restaurant style dining experience. I highly recommend this campus for your loved one needing additional care as there saying still remains true: it’s where family comes to live.
We chose to have Mom at The Lakes of Sylvania because she was there for rehab, so the transition from there to assisted living was easy for her as she was familiar with the staff and the caregivers. The facility allowed us to come in and bring the things that would fit into her room. The employees are very nice. The PT department was excellent. Now that she’s in the assisted living, they do crafts, bingo games, and a lot of activities with the family. Every Friday, they have a little happy hour where they get drinks and have music, so they have a fairly active schedule. My mom likes the food. It is awesome. They have a family night very frequently for families to come in, as well as brunches and things where families eat with the residents. It’s a fairly new facility compared to the others in the area and athough it could be a little cleaner, it’s set up very well. The assisted living rooms are roomy. They have a microwave, a small sink, and a small refrigerator so they can have some of their own things. They are very nice with a great big shower room in it.
The Lakes of Sylvania is excellent and I like the staff’s availability. The rooms were great, they’re one of the few places where rooms were furnished. The dining area was very clean, nice and open. They had a ton of activities which is one of the things I like about it. They have people doing different kinds of things, like they have exercise and bingo available. What appealed to me was that if my dad wanted to do something there’s something he can do with a group. Every day they also had a bus that goes offsite, like going to the grocery store of if you want to get out you’d be able to. I worked with Madison, and she was fabulous. So in comparison to other places I have visited, this place is way ahead.
I am so impressed with the Lakes of Sylvania. Throughout this pandemic they have gone above and beyond for the residents including my mother. The procedures they have implemented show how much they care for all the residents. We know it has been a trying time not seeing mother but I am thankful for all the steps they have taken as well as many others. We sure do miss the monthly brunches, family nights, and happy hours but we understand that social distancing is a must so that we can beat this virus! Centers for Medicare and Medicaid just announced the 5 star rating for this facility and it is nothing short of 5 stars! If you are looking for a safe and well maintained facility for your family be sure to check out Lakes and don’t let the negative reviews persuade you. Many can attest to the greatness!
I cannot say enough good things! My grandpa needed some acute care for a short period and Lakes provided the best of the best! The Nurses were all amazing especially dealing with his wound care, the management team was always walking by asking what they could do for us, and therapy didn’t take any of his stubbornness! He is now on his way home! Thank You!
They took good care of my grandma. The staff was awesome and it was very clean!
We choose The Lakes of Sylvania. It is very good. It is a brand new building with brand new staff. They are still in the caring stage at this point. The dining area is fine. The room is a little bit on the small side. It is adequate for her needs.
My husband works for them and they are an amazing group of people who live to serve others
